How to Incorporate DEIA as the Key to a Successful Technology Strategy

Share

Description

Throughout this year’s digitalNow conference, you’ve explored artificial intelligence and Web3, but are you considering how diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility (DEIA) will play a role as you develop a technology strategy that aligns with your organization's mission?

Technology-focused verticals have long been plagued by a lack of diversity, creating a snowball effect as problems pile up from a lack of alignment between DEIA principles, technology strategy and decision-making. But your association does not need to follow this trend. Your DEIA strategy should generate, attract, and sustain trust in the policies, people (both staff and members), and systems behind next gen technologies. That trust ensures excitement and commitment to technological experimentation, such as with AI and Web3. This approach creates member value, fosters a sense of belonging, and can sustain an organization’s bottom line — solving an ethical and business problem.

Join Association Women Technology Champions and a panel of association executives and industry partners for a fast-paced, strategic exploration of the intersection of DEIA and technology.
